First, I'm returning for Amazon failing to honor advertised discount. I'd still however possibly return it as cartridges are ridiculously expensive and those tiny low contrast numbers are significant cons relative to other lower priced units. But it seems well constructed, good battery life and seems to do the job well. I might look into the A6 unit or just go manual with an adjustable needling pad. Did I say those numbers are useless without my readers?

Dr. Pen is a really good brand that makes great quality products. I've used several derma pens created by them. Overall this one is fairly good quality, easy to use, and comes with a lot of replacement heads. It definitely helps your skin to look younger, healthier, and brighter with consistent use. Overall good product.

This has been the easiest microneedling pen I have used with the most settings to truly amplify the value for the money. I noticed results after my second use that were comparable to prior treatments I received in an office setting at a fraction of the cost. There are low settings for a more gentle experience, with many options for needle depth for more sensitive areas of skin.

What more can I say about this device other than it's a wonderful tool to have in my facial care remedy regimen. There is nothing else out there for the consumer that is better the mess as far as I know. I like the way it feels in my hand it has a great grip. It lasts as long as my session will go. Sometimes I just touch up an area and sometimes I do my entire face. Obviously it's a bit scratchy at first but pain is beauty and vice versa. The videos definitely give you more insight I would recommend watching the videos but overall this thing is easy to use and will change the way you regimen your face therapy routine.

 Construction of the Dr. Pen M8 made is very solid used a another brand micronedling pin called Tillman, the two are almost identical as far as how they charge how they work the Dr. Penn has a more textured grip that’s easier to adjust the depth of the needles. Great sturdy solid design highly recommend for microneedling enthusiasts.

Microneedling treatments are expensive for one treatment, but the need for consistent retreatment makes it downright cost prohibitive despite the phenomenal results. As a result, I have invested the cost of 1-2 treatments to buy my own microneedling pen. Dr. Pen is the pinnacle brand of at home microneedling pens and some dermatology and estheticians even use them. The refills are widely available and there are even decent off brand refills that work just as well.

The M8 pen is on the higher end of Dr. Pen's offering. It is easy to use, but if you are a newbie (and even if you are not), please read all of the directions. And once you have read all the directions, watch the videos on Dr. Pen's website and YouTube. These videos are going to be your best friend as you get to know your pen and which heads to use for what. The lower the number the thicker the needle for example. You need a "slip" or something that you put on your skin to help the needle glide smoothly over your skin to avoid scratching. You really should not go beyond a .5 for depth as anything more is considered medical needling, etc. These are all things you will learn by good research.

The pen itself is great. It is wireless or if you forget to charge it, you can use it plugged into the wall. The depth is adjusted through a dial and the speed through a button and digital LCD screen. I am using my pen for the face and hair regrowth. The results are staggering, but you have to keep with it for 6-8 months for noticeable change. Dedication is key.
