I am about to turn 30 and I’m really worrying about new fine lines as well as scarring from a breakout I had a few months ago. I explored professional micro needling, but the absolute minimum price I could find near me was $600/session with the recommendation of at least 4 sessions! There was absolutely no way I could spend that. I explored some Reddit groups and saw this recommended, but not without caution. I was honestly pretty scared of trying this and ending up with even more damage, but I am using it in the most minimal way possible and it’s been safe and easy so far. What I do recommend is making sure everything is extremely sterile before using this on your face. Look up the recommended protocol for use and use the best products for cleaning and slip on your skin. Do NOT try to go deep with the needles. The point of this isn’t to bleed but you will feel some pain. I use .25 under my eyes and thinner areas and I don’t go fully to .5 for the rest of my face but usually somewhere in between the two. I’m still seeing great effects already and expect the cumulative results to be great with what I’m seeing after just 2 uses. Don’t over do it and make sure you’re extremely sun-safe the following few days.
