I got this pen for my wife as a gift and it’s totally worth it. It’s easy to use, not painful and gave a fine result from the first use, expecting better results with time. The pen was well-maintained within the package.

The Dr. Pen Ultima m8 is well-designed and feels comfortable in your hand while using it. Before getting into action, its very important to clean your hands very well using antibacterial soap, or better use gloves. Also apply numbing cream for 30 min at least, then wash your face. Add a hyaluronic acid serum as lubricant and use the pen at your appropriate speed in 3 different directions, and I recommend using mask after the procedure, it will give you an even better outcome.

The pen cartridges are only 0.25mm, so its minimal penetration makes it very safe to use at home and expect some clinical result after several appropriate uses while saving both money and time.

When it comes to microneedling, Dr. Pen is the standard that you can depend on for a good, safe product. It is well made and safe to use providing you keep your pen clean.

If you are new to microneedling, start slow and light. Take it easy and gradually work your way up to what is a comfortable and more effective level for any given area of your face and body. One rule of thumb it to use much lighter penetration settings when using over boned areas and deeper penetration settings for fatty or soft tissue areas. Don't worry, it doesn't take a lot of study and practice to get this down. You'll quickly feel what's right for you and where. It's a quick study.

Easy to use and adjust and not difficult at all to change cartridges.

Microneedling will allow your facial serums or other skincare products to penetrate deeper into your skin which, in turn, gives you a better and deeper treatment. Depending on your skin and how you use this, you might get a little redness along your skin. That could be a sign that you need to lighten up a bit. For me, I'm not concerned about a little redness providing it goes away within an hour or so. As noted, it's easy to learn and adjust as needed.

One of the best products for microneeding. Ive been using regular derma roller for a couple years now. I dont use them as much as i should should, 1 treatment a year if that. This pen is definitely help me get back at it and step my game up. Its really heavy, sturdy and real good quality. Plus more hygienic Hopefully this gives me better results then my regular rollers.

 I really wanted to try this since I heard that while your skin is healing from these tiny pricks it also creates extra collagen, resulting in better skin quality and firmness, less lines and smoother skin.

While using it on your face you have different levels of vibration, and you can adjust your pressure you put on it as well, you can adjust the needle height by turning left to shorten or right to lengthen , I started off on level 1and very light pressure and as you get used to the feeling you can advance the pressure and level on your tool. I did not have any bleeding, just redness that subsided in a day or two.

I use it on a pretty light setting and am doing it once a week.

I have seen my skin heeling pretty quickly and have noticed the lines around my mouth are a little lighter already after 3 weeks.

I am excited to continue my use my needling pen and am happy seeing the results of less lines and smoother skin.

I have been researching micro-needling for some time and was so excited when this Dr. Pen Ultima M8 Microneedling Pen Professional Kit crossed my path. It was the exact one I was wanting to get! It is a well-known brand and there are lots of videos on YT showing how to use it. I've also learned a lot from PENN.SMITH.SKINCARE on YT, as well. I've always used a Derma roller on my face, but started to feel that it was too aggressive quite a while back, so I stopped.
This Dr. Pen Ultima M8 kit came well packaged, with all of the needle cartridges individually wrapped and sanitary. I did find the lack of instructions or any written materials a bit odd, as there could always be a pamphlet leading to their website and/or videos. This brand has been around a very long time and there is much to be learned from them. They have a great website, a number to call to speak with someone if you have any questions or concerns, and their own YT channel.
I started with a fairly low setting for my first try, and it went well. To me, it is much easier and less painful than dermarolling. You have much more control, as the machine really does all of the work very quickly. I did not overdo it, just to see how my skin reacts over the next several days. I used a fairly simple hyaluronic acid serum while micro-needling, waited an hour, rinsed my face very well with just water, and reapplied the serum. I did not put anything else on my face for 24 hours. I had some redness and a bit of heat, but nothing like with Derma rolling. It was pretty much gone by the next day.
I really like this micro-needling pen! It's very easy to use, it comes with everything you need, and it would make a perfect gift for someone seeking their very first one. I would absolutely recommend it!

I’ve been watching videos for a couple weeks since they didn’t include instructions. I would recommend this to everyone. I did my whole face at a needle length of .5 to begin with and a speed of 4. I then went back over my problem areas with the needle length of .75 and speed of 5. I’m an all or nothing kind of person and get carried away so I decided to do it one more time at 1 for the needle and the fastest speed of 6. I recommend doing it at the fastest speed.

I have sebaceous hyperplasia and I’m really hoping this will help it. It definitely feels like it’s doing something. I will post updates as I go.

Got this for my little sister to practice with. She's going to school to learn how to do the micro dermatologist thing and this helps her to learn and practice at her own pace. She finds it very easy to use and says it is worth it. I personally don't know much about these type of things but if she loves it then I love it

This is a very nice adjustable derma pen. It has a quality build and solid feel to it. It is comfortable to hold and easy to use. The adjustment barrel has a gradual, tactile feel to it, and a depth range from 0 to 2.5 mm. The 6 speed settings are useful for different parts of the face. It runs smoothly and quietly as well.

The derma pen uses a bayonet mount system for the microneedle cartridges. It comes with two 12-pin and three 36-pin cartridges. They are of good-quality and individually sealed in sterile packages. It also comes with a plastic organizer case, USB charging cable and power adapter.

Overall, I'm pleased with this derma pen. The metal construction is solid and the control seems precise. It comes with 5 cartridges to get you started. You'll just need to do some research on the appropriate needle depths at different parts of the face for the types of treatment you want. A numbing cream may be helpful too. Anyway, it works well for me so far. It gets the job done well. Recommended.

First, I was nervous trying to use this m8 pen, which is normal because anything that requires a needle makes me a little nervous. In the box there were no instructions, which I didn’t understand, especially for something that had to do with needling. Also, before using the m8 pen, I went out and bought some lidocaine cream to apply to the area that I'm going to use it on.I had some minimal discomfort and pain while using this, but it was tolerable and nothing extremely painful. And then, about four hours later, I did experience some sensitivity, more like discomfort, from the area. Now I just have to continue the therapy to see how well it worked.
