I waited so long to get the courage to try this pen. The instructions were not good so I deferred to their website and watched a video which was GREAT. A little annoyed that there isn't really a carrying case for this. I have bought other pens that come with a case for storage.

Make sure to have some hyaluronic acid or serum on hand to help the pen run effortlessly over your face. In the video they recommend a numbing cream and I figured I could just handle it because I've gone through childbirth and all that fun stuff. I would recommend the cream. I feel because it was painful enough, I went across my face with a very light hand and probably didn't get the full effect.

Either way I will try again in the next 4-6 weeks and this time with a numbing cream!

 Construction of the Dr. Pen M8 made is very solid used a another brand micronedling pin called Tillman, the two are almost identical as far as how they charge how they work the Dr. Penn has a more textured grip that’s easier to adjust the depth of the needles. Great sturdy solid design highly recommend for microneedling enthusiasts.

Wow I love this! I've used microneedling pens in the past to help with serum absorption but never a Dr.Pen. ....this is a superior microneedling pen. I've been practicing for a while and therfore know how to use it but I def recommend watching vids if you're new to this.

I had my face professionally microneedled a few years ago and had ok results but I couldn't afford to keep going back. I'm 60 now and life, hormones, and gravity are catching up with me. I never needed to do much to my skin until about 5 years ago but now I'm having a few skin issues (Rosecea, Adult Acne) as well as the expected wrinkles and some pores have enlarged in the last few years. So I'm starting to do more to help my skin...better late than never!

I've watched a ton of videos and while I was a little nervous I jumped in and gave it a go. I don't think I did too bad for a first attempt. Certainly doing the .75 depth isn't a walk in the park but I think it will work over time once I figure out what works best for my skin. Tried nano needling at .25 about 5 days later and that went well. Of course it will take 6 months of this to see what is permanent and what may be due to edema so we will see. I'll try to come back and update.

The pen is easy to use. The one-time-use cartridges snap on solidly (I hear some brands have issues with them coming off during use). It's easy to set the depth and speed. One charge should do at least 4 or 5 treatments.

All in all very happy I got this. I may not be able to stop the ravages of life but I can slow them down and have healthier skin at the same time! Since I've started my new regime I've had a lot fewer acne breakouts. That right there is a win!

I'm new to micro needling, so this was a weird technique to embrace at first. I read online that that some people say you don't even feel the needles. LOL. Not sure how that could be. You definitely feel them, as there is some very minor, but indeed pain involved. After 2 weeks, I do see positive results. My skin does look fuller and smoother after using it, but the aesthetic benefits tend to fade in between sessions. I think of it as my skin mildly getting inflamed from the needles, then subsiding as it heals. I haven't had any negative reactions, no redness etc, but I am diligent about sanitizing the needles after each use. It will be interesting to the results over a longer time frame.

This is so easy too use if you know how too do micro needling! I started with a fairly low setting for my first try, and it went well. To me, it is much easier and less painful than dermarolling. You have much more control, as the machine really does all of the work very quickly. I did not overdo it, just to see how my skin reacts over the next several days. I used a fairly simple hyaluronic acid serum while micro-needling, waited an hour, rinsed my face very well with just water, and reapplied the serum. I did not put anything else on my face for 24 hours. I had some redness and a bit of heat, but nothing like with Derma rolling. It was pretty much gone by the next day.I really like this micro-needling pen! It's very easy to use, it comes with everything you need, and it would make a perfect gift for someone seeking their very first one. I would definitely recommend it. I would watch a lot of videos though!!

 I really love this brand. Of all the micro needle systems I’ve tried I like their pens the best. The pen has a nice weighted balance to it. Metal construction. Nicely made. It’s quiet and doesn’t make a lot of noise. Works well. Of course with these type of micro needle pens you really need to know what you’re doing otherwise you can scar your face.
Comes with its own clear case for storage.

 The only thing I did not like is the slight discomfort when the speed increases however I love what it does to me skin. the microneedling pen does help replenish my skin to look younger healthier and better. Additionally it help clear the stuffiness in my nose reduced the sinus pressure in my face. I wasn’t expecting that at all. Pen is durable easy to use. The needles are packaged well and it comes with instructions.

I adore Dr. Pen, and while I have had much success using other brands too, this one is my favorite micro needling pen that I’ve used. It’s well made, it’s safe and effective when used with proper care, and it’s a sturdy, reliable piece of equipment which can completely revitalize the appearance, texture and quality of your skin. It can even help you look younger, as it helps build new collagen under the skin’s surface. My best piece of advice is to start out lightly. Slow & steady wins the race
