I have tried a number of micro-needling devices and in my opinion the Dr. Pen M8 is one of if not the best.
It’s very easy to use and the controls allow you to adjust the speed etc. This kit comes with several needles cartridges. The lower the number the more intense the procedure. So lower number needles are better for scarring and other skin issues. That said, I would suggest watching videos and reading literature on how to do it and going slow when starting micro-needling as the kit does not come with detailed instructions.
There are marked variations on price on this unit depending on where you buy it, so it’s a good idea to comparison shop. The Dr. Pen M8 is not cheap, but if you have good results from it, it’s well worth it.

Absolutely love everything about it. It does an amazing job, high quality needles, holds a charge for a looooong time, and much smaller than most other pens that tend to be a bit bulky for my hand. Hopefully this lasts forever cause it's a lifesaver

First time using a needling pen, was easy to use! So far so good. I’m just glad I don’t have to walk out of a clinic all red ever again! Do recommend ensuring your skin is sanitized before and using gloves during treatment, less is more, don't feel like you need to go straight to 2.5mm for results. If you haven't needled before definitely look up some tutorials these are professional pens and need to be used as so. I did not use numbing cream and did not experience any unbearable pain and only very mild discomfort.

But it appears to be a good pen. Pretty straight forward, I chose this pen because the needle length is adjustable on the pen instead of having to buy different length cartridges.
I used it for the first time anD **** THAT **** HURTS. Its tolerable, but it does sting for a few days after.
[Update] I learned that applying a hyaluronic acid sheet mask immediately after needling for at least 15 minutes will significantly reduce the recovery time before your skin feels more normal and less red. I can vouch for that.

I had much better success with this pen than the dermaroller. I am far more careful on how much pressure I am applying. Just be careful what you put on your skin right after. A couple of my serums that are usually pretty gentle, stung quite a bit when I applied them right after.

I really like this Dr Pen microneedle device. It comes almost fully charged and doesn't take much longer to become charged the rest of the way. It's actually pretty easy to use. I haven't had any issues with it, my only complaint is that the booklet doesn't state if you can use the needle heads more than once (self use) or dispose of afterwards.

This microneedling pen is wonderful! I have had this done at the spa a few times and it always gave great results, but it's expensive. This is a good alternative. I have owned a cheaper brand pen before, but I never saw results and it was so painful.
This one does not hurt and has several different settings and needles to choose from. This is good because you should not use the same one size fits all for your unique skin types. I have not tried this for hair growth, but I do use it for fine likes and wrinkles. It works well without irritating my skin.
The price is a little high, which normally I would not be okay with... However, I have used cheaper ones with no results so in this case I'd say it's worth the extra money to have a quality product that will actually get you results.

I find this product to be the easy way to get spa type or med type microneedling at home. Simple enough to where you can use it on yourself, or on a friend. Just remember to never share anything that scrapes even a small layer of skin.
I watched an online video in order to acquaint myself with this particular product. It's nice that they have them available since it can be intimidating for beginners.
I've also found that this is quite a well-known brand, popular with influencers.
If you're considering spending a fortune to get it done at a spa, and having a bit of sticker shock, this might be the way to go for you.
